My Golf Pool ("we," "us") runs golf pools for real PGA Tour tournaments. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Commissioners (people who create a pool): the email address used to create and manage the pool.
Players (people who join a pool): a display name for the pool (often a team name), an email address, and the six golfers picked.
We don't collect payment card details ourselves — pool-fee payments are handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor, and card numbers never touch our servers.
Entering a pool only uses your email to identify your entry and, if you choose, send you updates about that specific pool. It does not sign you up for marketing emails. When you join, you'll see a separate, explicit checkbox for marketing communications — unchecked by default. You can opt in or out of that independently of playing.
Leaderboards, team names, and picks are visible to anyone with a pool's link — that's the point of a shared pool. Email addresses are never shown publicly. A pool's commissioner can see the email addresses of people who joined their own pool (to send reminders or resolve prize payouts), and no one else's.
We use a small number of service providers to run the app, each only for what they need to do their job:
We don't sell your data.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in as a commissioner and to run the site. If Google Analytics is enabled, it's loaded only after you accept the cookie banner where your region requires consent.
My Golf Pool isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
